    I can’t identify the bird but I like all that misty blue grey-ness.

    I suppose the bird, like most birds, are thinking what their genes tell them it is time to do. Here, in SW Ohio where I live, the birds, like my grackle, are thinking about mating and keeping their kind alive even as mankind seems determined to warm things up even more. I think it is thinking those thoughts birds always think. Food. Mating. Shelter.
