Shame that it’s derelict, it must have been beautiful in its time. I don’t understand why people don’t sell these houses to people who would be proud to own them and make them beautiful again instead of letting them run down.

Is this house within the Kastro? My family lived there at the turn of the 20th century.

I saw many houses, beautiful houses in Ioannina, which is true that they are abandoned(maybe the law there in terms of the selling process-who knows) but the Ioannina is very nice. You have to go at least once to enjoy, because even it’s a small town, it has so many corners filled with beauties.
